Student at Stockholm School of Economics in Riga
A few weeks ago, I started my exchange semester at International Business School The past two years, every day was filled with numbers-heavy and long hours of studies at Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola - Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. Earlier this year, I had a truly impactful internship at ERDA this year. I’m very grateful for all the trust and responsibilities the team gave me; it was an experience where I learned a lot. Now, I’m excited to explore something completely different, learning more about culture, tourism, and the art world. The tourism course already makes me see traveling from a new perspective, for example, realizing that the issue of overtourism is often actually a problem of underplanning. Meanwhile, the Art World course has opened up a whole new passion for me. I’ve always admired art in museums, but now I’m discovering its fascinating business side, the players, pricing, history, and even money laundering with art. A big thank you to Éda Meggyesházi for opening the door to a world I’m genuinely excited to keep discovering.
