It’s crazy how fast time flies. Last weekend (thanks to LinkedIn’s reminder 😊) I celebrated 10 years at Swift. It feels like a lot — but at the same time so little — when you’re constantly growing and developing in a continuously changing environment. Looking back, I’m grateful for the journey so far: ✨ At 17, I left my home in Russia to study abroad and eventually entered the Swift universe straight out of university, with a couple of business degrees and big dreams of conquering the corporate finance world in our Belgian HQ. ✨ For 5 years, I had the pleasure of working in Finance and Marketing with incredible colleagues who taught me so much — thank you Jean-Baptiste Deghorain Nils Welham - ACC ICF, CPC, ELI-MP Jana Mertes Isabelle Carbon Luc Meurant Fabien Depasse Bart Claeys Astrid Thorsen ✨ Life then brought me to London — the city of dreams and the heart of the financial industry. Drawing from my finance background, I made the leap into Relationship Management, driven by a desire to work closer with our clients. Since then, I’ve had the privilege to partner with institutions of all sizes — from local banks to global payment providers — with one main goal: helping them elevate their customers’ cross-border payment experience. ✨ Along the way, I also welcomed my beautiful daughter, returned from maternity leave to an amazing team, and continue to learn and grow alongside so many talented colleagues and leaders Nasir Ahmed Adam Bealey Jaya Roy Choudhury Helen Alexander Samer Musharbash Leigh Amaro Katarina Stasova R. Gazzi Alex Alton and many others! While this is by no means the end of the road, I feel extremely grateful for all the support, opportunities, and growth Swift has given me so far — and curious to see how my journey will evolve next. Now I’m gearing up for my third Sibos (this year in Frankfurt 🇩🇪), where I look forward to meeting clients, reconnecting with industry peers, and exploring together how we can shape the future of cross-border payments — with exciting innovations like AI and stablecoins on the horizon.
