3rd year Medical Student at UCL | Surgical Sciences iBSc

I have been looking back at the past academic year and I wanted to share the opportunity I had, to present an oral presentation at the Annual Rani Rawji Studentship Seminar on the project I worked on. Over the summer in 2024 I conducted wet lab research at the UCL Cancer Institute for over 6 weeks and worked on optimising a novel antigenic reporter for T-cell epitope discovery. I have detailed this more in depth in a previous post. This was my first oral presentation of what I hope are many to come in the future, but it was a great learning experience to find out about other people’s research and projects. This exchange of ideas in a really inspiring environment makes me excited for the world of academic medicine where so much innovation and discovery is taking place. Thank you to all the Rani Rawji committee and my research supervisors for helping me throughout.
