Next slide please… A bit sooner than expected, happy to share that I’ve left my beloved Home Office to begin a new role as Deputy Director for Civil Service Communications, and Internal Communications & Engagement at the Cabinet Office. Snappy job title aside (!), when the opportunity came up to return to my Government roots in 70 Whitehall, I had to go for it. Public service the world over is at a profound inflection point, and it’s an exciting time to be supporting delivery of the Cabinet Secretary’s and Permanent Secretaries’ priorities. Powerful comms within, and about, the Service has a huge role to play in helping civil servants “Make it happen. Make it better. Make it count.” I’ve already hit the ground running (hello, hosting a media suite All Hands on day 6!) and can’t wait to see what’s next.
