This was probably the most unexpected question we got at VivaTech: "When will I be able to buy my own quantum computer?" Well... not anytime soon. A quantum computer isn't something you'll pick up in a store, bring home, and set up next to the TV. 😏 But we loved the question, because it says a lot about where the world thinks quantum is today. Over 4 days, 5 booths, 23 Alice & Bob team members, 13 talks and panels, 20+ unofficial pitches, 1 award ceremony from Région Ile de France 🏆 and 1 signed sale with GENCI ✍️, we met every kind of visitor imaginable. Some came to figure out what a quantum computer actually is, some were attracted by our Helium Quantum System mini model and wanted to know everything about it, few just stopped by to say they’ve been following us since the lab days and a few returned for another spinner pen goodie. For a general tech conference, it was really exciting to see people being so curious and aware about quantum than ever before.
