Today is my birthday. Somehow it happens every year on the same day 😉 But this one feels different... A year ago, I joined Novo Nordisk as a Solution Owner. Before that, my entire career was in startups, scale-ups, and consultancies - so joining a large corporate felt like joining the dark side in Star Wars. I was wrong. I couldn’t imagine a better place to work. From day one, I felt... Welcomed and empowered. A real sense of belonging. Surrounded by smart, passionate, and hardworking people pushing me to become better. Work is never just about the work. It’s about the people. Working with good people on meaningful projects delivers outstanding results. But the impact doesn’t stop there — it creates a spillover effect. A great work environment doesn’t stay at work. The energy, motivation, and positivity follow you home. It shapes your mindset, your relationships, and your life. Sometimes the best gift isn’t something you unwrap. It’s the people around you.
