إلى رحمة الله تعالى… غادرني منذ ايام والدي الغالي الحاج عبدالمهدي علي المعاعيه " ابو عدنان" عن عمر يناهز ٩٧ عاما….و هو الذي كان المعلم الاول و الراعي الاول و الداعم الاول و كان الظهر و كان السند الذي لا يعوضه احد. رجل من القلائل اللذين يفرضون احترامهم لتواضعهم و حكمتهم و تفانيهم بالعمل و فعل الخير . لقد كان مفتاحا للخير مغلاقا للشر ، بناءا، ذو رؤية ثاقبة منذ صغره… فقد كان من التجار الاوائل في الاردن و في غرف التجارة و المؤسس لغرفة تجارة مادبا و من مؤسسي البنك الإسلامي الأردني و احد أعضاء مجلس ادارته الاول، و من بناة عددا من مؤسسات الوطن و لم تغب الزراعة و الإنتاج عنه يوما و كان من مؤسسي اتحاد المزارعين الأردنيين، و قد بنى جيلا من الأطباء و الصيادلة و المهندسين و المحامين في عائلتنا بدءا من اخوانه و ثم أبناءه و ثم كل عائلته اما بتكفلهم او رعايتهم او توجيههم بدءا بأرسالهم إلى إسبانيا في الخمسينات و ثم امريكا في السبعينات و إلى العديد من البلدان الأخرى في زمن عمت بساطه التعليم في بلدنا عمل الخير لم يغادر شفاهه او يديه يوما أبا، قائدا، ملهما ، معلما كنت يا والدي… و إني إذ أبكيك الآن فلا اعلم أين اجد مثلك … لكنك علمتني كيف أسير وحيدا مسنود الظهر عندما تغيب رحمك الله رحمة واسعة و امر الله نافذ و إنا لله و إنا اليه راجعون ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله To the mercy of God Almighty... A few days ago, my dear father, Hajj AbdelMuhdi Ali Al-Maaieh, "Abu Adnan", left me at the age of 97....He was the first teacher, the first sponsor, the first supporter, and he was the backbone that no one can replace. He is one of the few who impose their respect for their humanity, wisdom, dedication to work and doing the good. He was a key to good, a closure to evil, constructive, and insightful from a young age. He was one of the first merchants in Jordan and a member in the Chambers of Commerce, the founder of the Madaba Chamber of Commerce, one of the founders of the Jordan Islamic Bank and one of its first board members, and one of the founders of a number of institutions in the country, and agriculture and production were never absent for him, and he was one of the founders of the Jordanian Farmers Union. He built a generation of doctors, pharmacists, engineers, and lawyers in our family, starting with his brothers, then his children, and then his entire family, either sponsoring, caring for or guiding them, starting with their sponsoring them to Spain in the 1950s, then America in the 1970s, and to many other countries at a time when education was very simple in our country. Doing good has never left his lips or his hands A father, a leader, an inspirator, a teacher... And when I cry for you now, I do not know where to find someone like you...
