I am happy to share that we have a new ICRA26 paper titled "From Language to Action: Can LLM-Based Agents Be Used for Embodied Robot Cognition?", together with Shinas S., Fabian Huppertz, and Sebastian Houben. In this work, we integrated an agentic LLM into a cognitive robot architecture and explored how various LLMs perform when planning a robot's behaviour, all of this in the context of everyday robot tasks in a simplified simulated everyday environment. I am particularly proud of Shinas and Fabian here, as the work that led to this paper originated as a project in my Cognitive Robotics course. I love it when research and teaching come together so nicely. ICRA is a few months away, but you can already explore some links if this is something of interest: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Preprint: https://lnkd.in/dGtrpHTx Implementation: https://lnkd.in/dUx3M7eV Paper website: https://lnkd.in/dYgTJUBw ----------------------------------------------------------------------
