This week marks one year since I took over the leadership of the product organization at Scaleway... and the number of my LinkedIn posts is literally inversely correlated with the intensity of this past months. Being part of an adventure like this is a once-in-a-career experience. Every day, I am impressed by the speed at which Scaleway moves forward, the complexity of what we are building, the energy and commitment of the teams, the milestones reached and surpassed, the contracts signed... It's the perfect combination of a solid corporate strategy, market momentum boosted by an incredibly unique geopolitical context, and the ability of an entire company to seize the opportunity. ... and it's thrilling. To be more specific about what shaped this past year, I could mention the long list of shipped products, AI Pulse, our recently won contracts (PDS, the European Commission, and more), the opening of a new AZ in Milan, hitting our SecNumCloud milestone, or the sheer number of people we are recruiting and many other things... But perhaps yesterday's AION announcement best illustrates Scaleway’s ambition for the next chapter of its story, and its determination to shape the future of French and European tech. So, I would like to thank Scaleway’s ExCo, as well as the product team (amazing people, high-level product management), and also engineering team, for the trust placed in me, and for giving me the chance to be part of such an exciting and incredible adventure.
