Most journeys have a natural pattern, uncertainty at the start, challenges along the way, and eventually a moment where you pause and realise how far you’ve come. I’ve been in that moment lately, reflecting on my time at Deep Capital Group. Over the past years, I had the true privilege of contributing to building an organisation that wasn’t simply managing capital, but actively shaping its own identity and long-term direction. We worked on structures, governance, investment frameworks, strategic priorities and, perhaps most importantly, on building a team and a culture capable of sustaining ambitious goals over time. What made it genuinely special was never the structures or the processes. It was the people. I was (🙏 once again in my life 🙏) very lucky to work alongside colleagues whose professionalism, intelligence and friendship made even the hardest stretches worthwhile. A big thank you to Pola Dalamangas, Maria Grapsa, Evangelos Papadopoulos, Stavros Pavlidis, Christos Spyropoulos, Giannis Schinas , Lucas Karetzopoulos, Panos Velachoutakos, Maria Zouganeli, Sophia Styliou, Alkistis Chandrinou, FOIVI AFRODITI FAITA, Antonis Zouganelis, Elpida Letsiou. Each of you left a distinct mark on this chapter, and I’m grateful for what we built together. I’m especially thankful to Dimitris Maris for his trust and for the opportunity to contribute at a meaningful stage in the Group’s development. Beyond the professional dimension, this journey gave me something harder to quantify: a deeper understanding of investment, governance and decision-making, as well as a reminder that institutions are ultimately built by people who share ambition, trust and a willingness to learn from one another. As this chapter closes, I’m looking forward to what comes next. At the end of the day, every journey is preparation for the one that follows.
