I’ve been a little quiet on LinkedIn for the past week, and for good reason. My family and I took some much-needed time away together in the Dominican Republic. My youngest just finished her junior year of high school, my son and middle daughter have been working hard at their full-time jobs, and my husband and I have been heads down building our business. Like many entrepreneurs and leaders, it’s easy to convince ourselves that there will be time later. Later for family. Later for rest. Later for creating memories. This trip was a reminder that later isn’t guaranteed. We explored new places, stepped outside our comfort zones, laughed a lot, disconnected from our daily routines, and most importantly, spent uninterrupted time together. The reality is that the work will always be there. The emails will wait. The projects will continue. But opportunities to create memories with the people we love are precious. I’m returning refreshed, grateful, and energized for what’s ahead. Now it’s time to get back to work. What’s something you’ve done recently to recharge and reset? #Leadership #WorkLifeBalance #Entrepreneurship #FamilyFirst #Gratitude #NvisionHR #FromHRToHere
