Back in the classroom — but this time from the other side of the table 🎓 Together with Ligia P. Oarga, I had the pleasure of meeting Master students at the Faculty of Business, UBB in Cluj and deep-diving into "Recruitment strategies in an international context". 🌍 While Ligia covered the strategic side of attracting talent, I focused on selection — the part candidates usually experience, but rarely fully understand: – How recruiters actually screen applications – What we look for during interviews beyond the CV – How decisions are made across stakeholders – How factors like AI, culture, bias awareness and structured evaluation shape the process in international companies The most valuable moments came through the questions and exchanges — when theory met real-life curiosity. Those moments always show how complex — and how #human — selection really is.
