Third Year Business Management (Marketing) student at the Henley Business School | Ex L’Oréal Marketing Intern

Friday marked my last day as a Marketing Intern at L'Oréal, working across Kérastase and Shu Uemura Art of Hair, and 'bittersweet' sums up exactly how I'm feeling. I'm excited to return to university and finish my degree, but this past year has been the best one yet and the perfect start to my career. During my time at L'Oréal, I experienced, learned and did so much that it would be impossible to fit it all into one LinkedIn post. However, a few highlights were: - Relaunching Chronologiste: In January, we gave some love to our most luxury range, Chronologiste. After Kérastase announced Demi Moore as a global brand ambassador, we put Demi everywhere. From Hello! Magazine, to Roadside billboards and even in Waterloo station! - Owning Free-Of-Charge Stock: I took ownership of a key project to get a grip on Kérastase and Shu Uemura's free-of-charge items. We started with no visibility on what we had or how much, and finished with a complete overview and a plan in place for ongoing stock management. Thanks to the visibility, we managed to decrease stock by over 25% in just two months and exceed objectives set out by Finance. Beyond these two highlights, I worked across multiple media bursts, built social assets, sat in on consumer focus groups and became a go-to point of contact for the brand. Every task taught me something new and I'll be taking this experience into my future roles. A massive thank you to everyone I worked with this year for being so welcoming, supportive and helpful & in particular Nicolò Vianello, Lucy McWhan & Chloe Katon for being the best brand team I could ask for! I'm excited to bring everything I've learned back into my final year and I can't wait to see what comes next! #LOreal #Kérastase #ShuUemura #Internship #Marketing
