This week, I had the opportunity to attend Paul Hastings' Inside Look event hosted at their #London office in collaboration with AllAboutLaw.   ⚖️ Over the course of an insightfully-packed day, I heard directly from trainees, associates, and partners on their career journeys and why they chose a firm as reputable as Paul Hastings.   💷 I was particularly intrigued by conversations on #leveraged #finance. After engaging with #Banking Partner Reena Gogna, we discussed the different factors that are considered when advising junior, senior, or subordinated lenders. These include market economics, interest rates, and security packages.   💼 I equally enjoyed the engaging M&A Transaction session, where I spoke with associates Silas Raggett and Henri Martin, who shared how Paul Hastings' teams respond to evolving trends and deal specifics. Having grown up in the Middle East, it was especially fascinating to see how Paul Hastings is advising regional clients in connection with growing #AI visions from the #UAE and Saudi Arabia.   🤝 The day concluded with a networking session. It was a true pleasure to speak to the firm's trainees and fellow attendees. A chance to meet like-minded individuals is always great, as I'm sure our paths will cross again in the near future. For instance, by pure chance, I ran into my fellow course mates Laura and Marta while waiting in the lobby!   🙌 A special thanks to Yvette Croucher and Zoe Green for organising such an insightful day and for their advice on how to stand out in the legal field.
