Debt Finance Intern @ Clifford Chance Dubai | Final-Year Law Student @ King’s College London | Aspiring Commercial Solicitor

⚖️ I am grateful to share my election and promotion to President of the European Law Students' Association (ELSA King's College London). 🌐 Having been a part of ELSA since the beginning of my undergraduate degree, I was initially drawn to its #international reach, prestigious competitions, and expansive network. What truly kept me, however, were the people I met along the way. 🕰️ Founded in 1981 by students from Austria, Hungary, Poland, and West Germany, ELSA was created to foster cross-border #cooperation during the Cold War. Today, the organisation has grown to over 60,000 members #worldwide. Its mission, however, remains evermore important. 🔗 In a world where global systems are increasingly #interconnected, meaningful progress is achieved by communicating with each other, supporting one another, and working together. Guided by the collaborative spirit of our founders, I intend to lead ELSA into a new era of accessible, diverse, and useful initiatives. 🙌 I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to our longstanding President, mentor, and predecessor, Rebecca Tuersley, for her leadership and her foundational role in raising the club to where it is today. I look forward to building on this work – continuing to serve both law and non-law students, while further promoting awareness of the legal profession. 📚 Accordingly, if you’re a student (at King's College London or beyond) interested in the #legal industry, consider joining ELSA’s flagship society based in the heart of #London today: https://lnkd.in/e2PTkxZe. Alternatively, if you’re working in the #legal industry and would like to support the next generation of #lawyers, feel free to reach out to me directly. 🤝 I’m excited for what lies ahead and look forward to working closely with our committee, legal professionals, and wider network.
