Yet another successful fundraising; Thank you all. ❤️ Nothing is more humbling than soliciting for money, especially for a cause with no direct material return. For the past 7 years, I’ve often hoped each round would be the last but 2 things keep me going: 1. My brief discomfort is nothing compared to the joy these children experience on event day. 2. Friends and colleagues continue to show up without hesitation contributing from their hard-earned resources. At this point, it has become an institution of its own, and we’ll do our best to keep it alive. This year, we took our first big step by expanding to a second city, so honestly, who knows what next year will look like. A massive thank you to everyone who supported.
