E pluribus unum Out of many, we are one For the 7th year, through Make-it-WoW! Limited we pulled off yet another #WoWChildren’sDayFiesta in #Nigeria & for the first time, across two cities: #Lagos & #Ibadan. Not because we had all the resources ready. Not because it was easy. But because we believed that if we created the avenue, people known & unknown would show up. And they did! This year, we served 1,600 children in Lagos & 850 children in Ibadan, bringing the total number of children reached since inception in 2018 to 9,450. These children came from #orphanagehomes, #DownSyndromeCenter, #Homeless, #KidsWithDisabilities & ordinary citizens; creating a truly #inclusive funfair. To our donors and company sponsors: thank you. Truly! A few numbers that deeply moved us: 48% of donors have supported more than five times since 2018. 74% have donated at least twice. 26% supported us for the first time this year. To our returning supporters: your trust keeps this alive. To our first-time donors: welcome to the family. We are humbled & energized. And we are reminded once again that impact does not always need political coronation or endless resources. Sometimes, all you need is just conviction, community, & the courage to start.
