Wednesday, 20 May 2026, was a great day. We had the pleasure of handing over four reports to the BMWE and the European Commission. Together with outstanding colleagues from different sectors across Europe, we presented not only three reports from the Coalition of the Willing on bidirectional charging, but also the joint recommendation developed by the Sustainable Transport Forum, the Data for Energy Working Group, and the Coalition of the Willing. 🔹 What I found especially encouraging is that these reports do not just describe technical concepts — they reflect real cross-sector alignment. 🔹 Bringing together different industries, perspectives, and initiatives to create one common foundation is an important step towards making interoperable and scalable solutions in Europe a reality. 🔹 For me, one key takeaway is clear: we have created a strong basis for a shared understanding of roles, data exchange, and interoperability — and now the real work begins, turning this into implementation.
