https://lnkd.in/e5JvtvPx What, dear friend, are you feeling sad, lonely, and overheated? Now you're going to be scared, too. Are you against data centers? Are you anti-cap? You have something against big-tech? Watch out! They're coming for ya! A message from Pleaseweb support: "We are currently experiencing elevated temperatures in a section of our A**-01 data center. Our monitoring systems detected the issue, and as a precautionary measure, we are shutting down some of our internal infrastructure to help reduce temperatures and minimize the risk of service disruption." I have a question: when the temperature hits 45 degrees celsium or higher, how are you going to cool your -crpy- datacenters? Not every coolant and cooling system can operate in such mode as some coolant when overheated can increase pressure and compressor will fail. And efficiency... I am not against, I am against that crappy technology called LLM which is inefficient and dumb. Same dumb if as grandpas in 60th would decide that every house should have installed a personal vacume tube based computer. And I’ve already seen the consequences for the Gulag-based country—with informers lurking in every iron—collapsed like a rotten house. And (nowdays) I've heard somewhere that people are being persecuted for opposing “traditional family values.” Could you tell me where that is? I forgot...
