I'm beyond excited to announce that my job search has came to an end. 🚀 This search was different, as I'm seemingly degrading myself and after 3 years in leadership positions, I've decided to come back to an IC role. This is a strong FOMO, I feel how things are so rapidly changing, I hear about it every day, and I can't resist but to go back in the trenches, contributing to software as I was from the start of my career and experience all these changes firsthand. Reason why I'm sharing this is to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to all recruiters who went the extra mile to help me in this transition, they truly made this transition possible as I couldn't get a single interview out of applying trough job posts, but had a new interview every single week trough one of them: Johannes Lerchen, Bradley Kearsley, Ollie Wiles, Lyto Linardi, Megan Chudley and finally Eden Whitcomb who got us over the finish line! ❤️ Lastly, to my fellow engineers - there is work out there, don't get blinded by posts of AI replacing us, big layoffs, lack of new opportunities... Things are changing, and it is scary, but I never had more interviews in my life then in these past 6 weeks. Sure maybe requirements might got a bit stricter, but if you enjoy this work, you're still curious, hard working, good communicator - no technology can replace you and many companies across the world need you.
