We have lost a dear friend. A brilliant mind, a kind heart. An academic of rare depth, a mentor whose words stayed with you long after he left the room. Marc Cools was a true gentleman of Antwerp. His charisma wasn’t loud, it was steady. Natural. The kind that made you lean in, listen closer. He brought people together without needing to try. That was his gift.
