On dit souvent que dans le monde municipal il y a en réalité deux fins d'année: le 23 décembre et le 23 juin! Il me fait donc plaisir de vous partager le résultat de cette première moitié de 2026 au sein de la Division que j'ai le privilège de diriger. Accompagnés par BC2, le Service de l'aménagement urbain entame un mandat de refonte du Plan d'urbanisme de Westmount et de la réglementation. S'étalant sur un échéancier de 24 mois, l'objectif pour la deuxième moitié de l'année sera de se doter d'une Vision d'aménagement, mobilisant d'un même ton les citoyens, l'administration et les élus. La réflexion à l'horizon 2050 est bien enclenchée, hâte de démarrer le tout aux côtés de Frédéric Neault, urb. et de Benoit Ducharme! It is often said that in the world of local government, there are actually two end-of-year dates: 23 December and 23 June! I am therefore delighted to share with you the results for the first half of 2026 from the Division that I have the pleasure of leading. Working alongside BC2, the Urban Planning Department is embarking on a project to overhaul Westmount’s Urban Plan and regulations. Spanning a 24-month timeframe, the objective for the second half of the year will be to establish a Planning Vision that brings together residents, the administration and elected representatives on a common footing.
