Tuesday thought. 💭 Something that often gets overlooked on construction projects. The relationship between contractor and architect. When it works well, it's one of the most valuable things on a project. Problems get flagged early. Buildability issues get resolved before they reach site. The design intent gets protected all the way through to handover. When it doesn't - everyone feels it. Decisions get made in isolation. Issues get discovered on site rather than on paper. And the build suffers for it. It doesn't have to be complicated. Early involvement. Open communication. A shared understanding of what the project is trying to achieve. In our experience, the builds that go well are almost always the ones where the contractor and architect are properly aligned from the start. 🏗️ How important do you think early contractor involvement is to the success of a project? 💬 West Wales | Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion & Carmarthenshire 📍 #AdrefConstruction #WestWales #Pembrokeshire #ArchitectLed #BuildingContractors #PreConstruction #ConstructionManagement #ProgrammeProtection #QS #ConstructionLife
