Senior Manager for Economic Development Join our team to lead strategic real estate and land development initiatives that drive business attraction, expansion, and redevelopment in Albemarle County. This role partners closely with developers, site selectors, and public agencies to shape high-impact projects and support long‑term economic growth. Key Responsibilities • Respond to RFIs and collaborate with state/regional partners • Analyze and support public‑private partnerships • Promote investment in development and redevelopment projects • Use GIS and market data to assess site feasibility and maintain site/building databases • Advance the county’s economic development strategic plan • Support business attraction, site readiness, and incentive strategies What We’re Looking For: • Strong knowledge of economic development, land use, and real estate • Experience with zoning, permitting, environmental regulations, and GIS • Ability to evaluate incentives, financing tools, and market trends • Effective collaborator across public and private sectors If this sounds like you, apply today!
