This is the chance that I got this past month in RWE Renewables Europe & Australia, in the Onshore, PV and Storage Development Europe department. It has been a great month full of learning in a multicultural and dynamic environment. This experience has given me great insight into how renewables projects are developed from scratch until Financial Investment decision. It has been a month to learn about the renewables technologies, understanding the business cases behind the projects, the commercialisation of energy and many other topics related, The final cherry on top of a site visit to a PV and Wind farm in the open-cast mine in Hambach. It was impressive to see how RWE is moving from conventional energy production to renewable technologies Being in a wind turbine and on top of the nacelle (more than 100 m high) has been an amazing experience! Everybody treated me as part of the RWE family, contributing to my learning and making me feel part of the team. I can only recommend this experience! I would like specially to thank you to all that have been involved in my learning during this month, specially to my tutor Manuel Geggus and the Development Director Fernando Martin. I wish all the best to RWE, and I thank them a lot for this opportunity!
