There’s no time to waste when it comes to making our sites more sustainable. So it’s great to see further progress being made at the Mauá plant in Brazil, where we’re reusing industrial residue to make Coral Pinta Piso floor paint. After implementing several process improvements over the past year, the site is now using around 37% of the sludge generated from paint production (up from 30%), helping to reduce CO2 emissions by 150 tons (up from 106 tons). As well as helping to eliminate landfill disposal, it’s also contributing to the preservation of natural resources.
