Postdoctoral researcher at the Hafner lab

Thrilled to share our new preprint on bioRxiv! https://lnkd.in/eMvTXAce In this study, we explore how APP-CTFβ, the precursor of Aβ, interacts with presynaptic lipids and how its oligomerization disrupts synaptic function—offering fresh insight into early mechanisms of Alzheimer’s pathology. I am grately indebted to my amazing PI Anne-Sophie Hafner for her guidance, vision, and endless support throughout this journey (both professional and personal). I feel incredibly lucky to be part of your lab. Special thanks to the Hafner lab members, especially Ezgi Daşkın and Stanley Van, and to members of the Kuijpers Lab and DCN, for their help, feedback, and great science discussions. I am grateful to Prof. Jochen Walter for his ongoing support and mentorship, and to our wonderful collaborators Prof. Weria Pezeshkian and Dr. Fabian Schuhmann for the beautiful molecular modeling work! Excited to hear your thoughts and feedback. #Neuroscience #AlzheimersResearch #Presynapse #APPCTF #SynapticFunction #Hafnerlab #PostdocLife #bioRxiv #TeamScience
