๐ From 3D CAD to Reality: Engineering a Precision Thrust Measurement Device There's something incredibly rewarding about seeing a digital design evolve into a fully functional engineering system. This video showcases the complete development journey of our Thrust Measurement Device for Small Propellers, from the first CAD assemblies and detailed component design to manufacturing, assembly, calibration, and the final working prototype. Developed as part of my engineering studies at the Universitรฉ Internationale de Rabat (UIR) โ College of Engineering & Architecture, this project was a true systems engineering experience, combining mechanical design, simulation, manufacturing, electronics, and experimental validation. ๐น Hand sketches and concept development ๐น Detailed 3D CAD design in CATIA ๐น Structural validation through ANSYS simulations ๐น Mechanical manufacturing and machining ๐น Prototype assembly and integration ๐น Sensor and electronics implementation ๐น Calibration, testing, and performance validation Every component was carefully designed with precision, manufacturability, and functionality in mind, resulting in a robust measurement system capable of delivering accurate and repeatable thrust measurements for small propellers. A huge thank you to my amazing teammates meryme DIYER , El Mehdi Adib Alaoui, and Mohammed Hariri for their dedication and teamwork throughout this project. I'm also sincerely grateful to Professor Hajar Chouiyakh for her continuous guidance and to the UIR Tech Center for providing the manufacturing facilities that made this prototype possible. Engineering is about transforming ideas into realityโand this project perfectly reflects that journey. #MechanicalEngineering #SystemEngineering #ProductDevelopment #Prototype #CAD #CATIA #ANSYS #Manufacturing #RapidPrototyping #Mechatronics #Innovation #EngineeringDesign #EngineeringStudent #Aerospace #Research #Teamwork
