Why do we celebrate Pride at Aker Solutions? 🌈 Because creating an environment where people feel safe, respected and able to be themselves is good for people — and good for business. 🟣 Around 5% of our colleagues identify as LGBTQ+. 🟣 We believe people perform at their best when they can focus on their work rather than hiding who they are. 🟣 Opportunities should be determined by competence, performance and contribution — not by who you love. This matters more than ever in an industry undergoing rapid change. New technologies, new business models and new customer expectations are challenging us to rethink how we work and how we create value.  In times like these, we need different perspectives and new ideas. We need people who are willing to share those ideas, challenge assumptions and speak up when they see a better way forward.  That only happens when people feel safe. Inclusion means giving more people the opportunity to be measured against the same standards and have the same opportunity to succeed. Happy Pride!
