A step forward in our SMR journey! 🌍 Sweden is taking another step into nuclear power, with Videberg Kraft selecting Rolls-Royce SMR to deliver three Small Modular Reactors on the west coast. For Aker Solutions, this is an encouraging development. As a module partner to Rolls-Royce SMR, we see growing momentum for SMR technology across Europe. 🌍 Earlier this year, we signed an MoU to develop our offering of non-nuclear components and framed modules for Rolls-Royce SMR’s portfolio, building on our long track record in modularisation and execution of large, complex energy projects. ⚡ With the technology already selected in the UK and the Czech Republic, the addition of Sweden highlights the increasing interest in SMRs as part of the future energy mix.
