In December 2025, the Maharashtra Junior Girls Football Team made history by securing its first-ever victory in the National Football Championship (Tier 2). Guiding the team as Assistant Coach was Akanksha alum Suhasini Uplanchi. What began as a love for football on a school playground grew into a career driven by a deep passion for the game.
