Most Montreal moves in 2026 won't fail because of the move itself. A client bought a condo in Montreal. Their notary confirmed the possession date. the day they'd officially get the keys and could move in. They planned everything around that date. Booked the elevator. Gave notice on their current apartment. Hired us. Then, 6 days before moving day, the seller's side had a problem. The possession date moved. Now our client was stuck: Their lease was ending, they legally had to be out of their current place The new possession date was days later than expected The condo building only allows moving trucks during specific time windows you can't just show up whenever They had a full apartment of furniture with nowhere to go in between So here's what we did: We picked up everything from their current apartment on the original move-out date. Instead of delivering to the new condo (which wasn't ready), we brought everything to our warehouse. Their stuff sat safely in storage for a few days. The moment the new possession date was confirmed and the elevator window was approved by the building, we loaded the truck again and delivered everything on time, within the building's rules. They never had to sleep surrounded by boxes. Never had to rent a second truck. Never lost a piece of furniture scrambling to improvise. #Montreal #GreaterMontreal #RealEstate #Moving #PropertyManagement
