Together with aixACCT Systems GmbH, you are now official Cleanup Heroes   We would like to thank you once again for being part of this year’s World Earth Day campaign with your click. We are delighted by every ‘Like’, every share and every sign of support. It is encouraging to see how a simple digital action can lead to measurable positive impacts on the environment.   Together with 32 participating partners, a total of 20,565 kg of rubbish was collected from rivers and waterways before it could reach the sea. Across all partner posts, around 25,300 ‘Likes’ were recorded, including 107 ‘Likes’ on the aixACCT campaign post, which were directly linked to litter collection initiatives as part of the #1like1kilo mechanism.   Thanks to your help and support, aixACCT in Cambodia, South-East Asia, was able to collect 250 kg of river waste – including tyres, bottles, fridges and much more – from rivers and lakes through everwave. The material was then recycled or reused in an environmentally sound manner.
