EARTH DAY | On days like Earth Day, there’s more attention on how industries like ours operate, and rightly so. It’s a reminder of the work still to be done. At AirTrunk, we build and operate the infrastructure behind the digital economy, enabling the services and innovation that modern societies depend on. As demand for digital services accelerates, so does the pressure on energy systems, water resources and the communities we operate in, but also the opportunity to help strengthen them. The growth in cloud and AI brings real opportunity: to support economic development, and to accelerate the transition to more efficient, resilient and lower-impact infrastructure. Because we’re part of enabling that growth, we also have a responsibility to help shape how it’s delivered. We’re making progress, with more to do. This includes our efforts towards Net Zero (scope 1 and 2) with 72% renewable matching; growing our use of recycled water (55%); and reducing embodied carbon. We know we can play a meaningful role, helping enable digital growth while contributing to the systems that support a more sustainable future. On Earth Day, it’s a timely reminder to keep pushing further.
