Happy 20th birthday, MELFI! Also known as the Minus Eighty-Degree Laboratory Freezer for ISS, MELFI has been supporting international science on board the International Space Station for two decades, and we couldn't be prouder. Designing a freezer for the extreme conditions of space was an engineering challenge. It's the one our teams took on, developing the turbomachines that powers MELFI: our unique Turbo-Brayton technology.
