For decades, parking has offered two main options for commuters: pay by the hour or buy a monthly pass. That made sense when most workers commuted five days a week on a fixed schedule. It doesn't anymore. Hybrid workers who come in a few days a week shouldn't have to pay for a monthly pass they won't fully use. And transient rates give tenants no way to offer their employees a consistent, cost-effective parking option. The same is true for evening workers and shift employees, and anyone whose schedule doesn't fit the traditional nine-to-five, Monday through Friday. Today we're launching Commuter Rates, a new pricing tier built for the way employees actually commute today. With Commuter Rates, tenants define the days, hours, and frequency a parking rate applies, so their drivers get a tailored plan that fits their schedule. For example, a company that wants employees in three days a week, any weekday, between 8 AM and 6 PM can offer a rate built around exactly that. The parameters are fully customizable, and if an employee parks outside their plan, the appropriate transient rate is applied automatically. No manual tracking or operational overhead, just pricing that reflects how your employees actually park. Commuting looks different than it used to. Parking pricing should follow. #parking #smartparking #RTO #hybridwork #CRE
