Estonian companies aren't afraid to embrace new technologies. A recent report 🔎📝 by the Estonian Foresight Centre shows that Estonian businesses are adopting AI more actively than the EU average and are quick to experiment with new technologies. That's a strong starting point. 🦾 The next challenge is turning successful pilots into lasting business transformation. According to the report, automation alone increases productivity by 6–9%. However, when companies also redesign their processes, management practices and organizational structures, the impact can grow to 24%. This aligns with what we see with our clients. The greatest value is created when technology moves beyond isolated pilots or individual departments and becomes part of everyday business operations. 💬 According to Katre Eljas, one of the biggest misconceptions is treating AI as an IT project. In reality, it is a business transformation project. If AI is only used to automate tasks without changing the way the organization operates, the impact will remain limited. Real value comes when AI adoption is driven by leadership, aligned with business strategy and approached as a continuous transformation journey rather than a one-off project.
