At this first agriculture-focused AIRE Club during the METK field day, the focus wasn’t technology but everyday farming reality. 🌾 🚜 🌱 In many agricultural businesses, a significant amount of time is still spent on manual data entry across multiple disconnected systems. Crop plans, yield forecasts, drying data, and livestock records are often scattered, making it difficult to get a clear, unified overview of operations. 📂 Aleksander Miina from LEAN DIGITAL pointed out that this is exactly where AI and digitalisation can start delivering real value by removing manual work, connecting data, and making processes transparent enough to support better decisions. 🌾 That same practical angle carried through the contributions from METK - Centre of Estonian Rural Research and Knowledge / Maaelu Teadmuskeskus and Intellydry. There is clearly both interest and opportunity in the digitalisation of workflows in agriculture.
