The German Air Force is withdrawing from its membership all C-160D Transall military transport aircraft. On June 3, 2021, a C-160D Transall military transport aircraft of the 63rd Air Transport Wing of the German Air Force took off from Hon airbase on its last farewell flight. It is reported that all 30 (19 of them are flightable) C-160D Transall military transport aircraft in service with the Luftwaffe der Bundeswehr since 1967 will be decommissioned by the end of 2021. #aircraftstudies
