The overarching theme for this year’s 10th anniversary of #VivaTech in Paris is "Artificial Intelligence: Impact, Not Illusion." At Airbus, our recently unveiled Wildfire Sentinel solution aims to create real impact in the fight against wildfires, which in 2025 alone globally ravaged an area spanning around 90% of the European Union. In these extreme environments, traditional communication networks sometimes fail, leaving first responders isolated. Wildfire Sentinel creates an invisible digital bridge. By leveraging our secure Agnet collaboration platform and AI-enabled data processing, we seamlessly interconnect satellites, aircraft, uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) and ground crews in real time. This significantly reduces the time between detecting a spark and delivering the first drop of water.
