The Navsari Management Association (NMA), an affiliate of AIMA, organised the 4th J N Tata Memorial Lecture Series on 18th June 2026 at Navsari Town Hall, Gujarat. Instituted in 2020, the lecture series honours Jamsetji Tata's legacy and provides a platform for industry leaders and management thinkers to share their insights. At the event, Mr T V Narendran, President, AIMA, and CEO & Managing Director, Tata Steel, delivered the keynote address, highlighting Jamsetji Tata's vision of nation-building and responsible enterprise, and the importance of long-term thinking, trust and values-driven leadership. Mr Narendran emphasised that successful organisations are built on three pillars- purpose, people and process. He highlighted the need for continuous innovation and adaptability, noting that while technology and AI offer significant opportunities, agility remains key to staying relevant. He also highlighted the growing importance of sustainability, climate action and inclusive growth, stressing that long-term business success must be aligned with broader societal progress. During the interactive session, he addressed questions on entrepreneurship, talent and organisational culture, highlighting adaptability, continuous learning and passion as key drivers of success. The event attracted over 1,000 entrepreneurs, professionals, students and community members, providing a valuable platform for dialogue on leadership, innovation and the evolving role of business in society.
