Aíma is delighted to have presented our latest results on cfDNA methylation and ctDNA detection at the International ctDNA symposium in Aarhus. Exciting discussions around liquid biopsy, MRD and early cancer detection. We believe native methylation sequencing with Oxford Nanopore opens a promising path for scalable and decentralized cancer screening approaches. At the same time, recent progress in methylation kits for short-read methylation technologies is also extremely exciting for the field, and it is great to see multiple complementary approaches emerging for cfDNA analysis.
