4am. Half asleep. A LinkedIn message from Nate Herk asking if I wanted to do a podcast with him. I had to read it twice. I genuinely could not believe my eyes. We talked about getting laid off at 39 with two young kids, 15 years of email development, and how n8n, Claude Code, and a lot of 4am mornings led me to become Head of AI at YOUNG. No CS degree. No traditional AI background. Just building in public, showing the work, and not stopping.
