Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Jaipur successfully organized a two-day cybersecurity workshop titled "Pentest Innovation Sprint – Advanced Penetration Testing" on 2nd and 3rd June 2026 under TECHNOVATE Hub training program, a joint initiative of AICTE and the Consortium for Technical Education (CTE). The workshop provided participants with hands-on exposure to contemporary cybersecurity practices and penetration testing methodologies. The sessions covered key domains including Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), OSINT, AI-assisted reconnaissance, web application security testing using Burp Suite, password security, live bug hunting, and vulnerability disclosure practices. Participants also gained practical insights into identifying vulnerabilities such as IDOR, XSS, CSRF, and business logic flaws through live demonstrations and interactive exercises. The workshop was conducted by cybersecurity experts Mr. Akash Periyasamy and Mr. Kodeeshwarar, who shared valuable industry knowledge and real-world security research experiences with the attendees. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across technical disciplines and reinforced SKIT's commitment to promoting industry-oriented learning, cybersecurity awareness, and skill development. The event concluded with interactive assessments and discussions, leaving participants better equipped to address emerging cybersecurity challenges.
