It’s Treasury Tuesday and this week we are taking a look at the latest AIB Ireland Services PMI for May 2026. Activity in the services sector returned to growth in May, with the index rising to 50.8, alongside renewed increases in new business. While demand improved and employment saw its fastest rise in four months, overall growth remained modest and below long-run trends. Cost pressures also remained elevated, with input price inflation still close to recent highs, and sentiment continuing to reflect a cautious outlook despite improving activity.
