It’s Treasury Tuesday, and this week the focus is on the latest AIB Ireland Construction PMI. Construction activity continued to expand in March, with the PMI rising to 53.2, its strongest reading in a year. Growth was supported by solid new order inflows, with commercial and residential activity both accelerating. Employment and purchasing activity also increased as firms responded to rising workloads. Cost pressures, however, intensified further, with input price inflation rising to its highest level in over three years, largely driven by higher fuel costs. While firms continue to expect activity to grow, geopolitical uncertainty has weighed on sentiment. Start your Tuesday informed.
