Company spotlight: Flinn.ai Founded in 2022 by Markus Mueller and Hasib Samad, MBA, Flinn is developing an AI-powered regulatory platform designed to help MedTech and pharmaceutical manufacturers move beyond rigid, document-heavy compliance workflows. The system automates complex procedures such as monitoring safety databases, evaluating literature and reporting vigilance, enabling quality and regulatory teams to work more efficiently while ensuring the safety and integrity of healthcare products. The Vienna-based company recently secured an additional $20 million in funding, led by HV Capital and with participation from BHI - Bertelsmann Healthcare Investments, as well as existing investors including Cherry Ventures, Speedinvest and SquareOne.
