62% of enterprises are experimenting with AI agents. However, fewer than 10% have scaled one. Gartner predicts that more than 40% of agentic AI projects will be cancelled by the end of 2027, partly because the models lack an understanding of how businesses actually operate. Emails, exceptions, customer-specific rules, handoffs between teams: none of that lives in the CRM, the ERP, or the LLM's training data. Without it, an agent may be accurate in a demonstration but unreliable in practice. A Belgian start-up founded in Ghent in 2022 has built a platform to address this issue. Tekst calls it Process Intelligence. The platform reads the digital trail that work leaves behind - emails, documents and system events - and reconstructs how processes genuinely flow, end-to-end. AI agents then operate within that model, with clear boundaries on what they can decide autonomously and when human intervention is required. No re-platforming. Direct integration with SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft. The company has just closed an €11.5m Series A funding round led by Elephant, with Entourage also participating. The funding will be used to further develop the platform and expand internationally. 👏 Congratulations to the team, including: Wouter Janssen, Tiebe Parmentier, Tristan Dhoedt, Arthur Isaac, Wout De Rijck, Tymen Van Himme, Dario God, Bart Bleys, Wietse Kransfeld, Daan Arijs, Florence Dobbenie, Saran De Zutter, Emile Koslowski, Sofie Patoor, Julien Van Beveren, Nora Vinck, Klaas Willaert, Léopold Duchâteau, Servaas Strobbe, Tom Van den Bulcke, Dietmar Vinckier, Heleen Lodewykx, Sebastiaan Herpelinck, Charlotte Uyttenhove, Louis Rombouts, Fabio Cappiello and the rest of the Tekst team. 🔗 More AI-driven startups at AI World - link in profile. 📊 Sources: Tekst | McKinsey State of AI 2025 | Gartner
