Why AI (LLMs) are friends of Platform Engineers? In Platform Engineering, enabling self-management is crucial for Tech organizations. Despite automation and documentation, questions and issues arise that demand conversations. Recently, I have implemented LLM-based answers for the ticket system, which helps have quick first insight. LLMs excel at: - Recommending solutions based on training or well-described prompts. - Pointing out the next steps for investigation. - Creating structured summaries of issues, aiding platform engineers.
