Happy International Day of the Human Space Flight! On this occasion, I would love to share that over the last two weeks of February, I had the privilege to present the Mars/Moon Analog Station project to many government representatives at EgSA-Egyptian Space Agency. We aim to see Egypt having the first analog station in Africa that could support the researchers from the entire continent to conduct their analog studies on African land for the first time, as well as, to support us to be closer to having a human space flight for Africa. Following that, we were honored to welcome and host our colleagues from the Austrian Space Forum (OeWF) to discuss with them the potential for Egypt to be one of the candidates for the next AMADEE mission to be the inaugural mission of the station. Special thanks to Dr. Mohamed El-Koosy, CEO of EgSA, and H.E. Dr. Georg STILLFRIED The Austrian Ambassador in Cairo for their huge support. As well as, our Austrian Space Forum colleagues Dr. Gernot Groemer, Sophie Gruber, Reinhard Tlustos, Julia Knie, Dr. Seda Ozdemir-Fritz and the many wonderful people who are supporting this project behind the scenes for almost two years Dr. Ayman Ahmed, Ilaria Cinelli PhD FAsMA, Dr Rochelle Velho MBChB MPH BSc ARaES, Anthony Yuen, Yulia Akisheva, Mina Takla, Loay G., Hoda Awny, Rawan Alshammari, Ghanim Alotaibi, Rute Luz, Pauline Delande, Christina-Ariadni Valagkouti, Kristine Jane Atienza and many more. #egypt #EgSA #africa #mars #marsexploration #moon #space #spaceindustry #spacetech #spaceexploration #spaceforeveryone #spacescience #austria #AMADEE #futuregenerations #collaboration #scientificresearch Credits: EgSA
